Dancing with Our Stars

Dancing With Our Stars takes over Pell City’s Center for Education and Performing Arts gymnasium on March 1, and everyone is warmly invited to try for a front row seat to catch some of the boldest, if not the very best, dancers that can be found in our area. Each year, the Pell City Line Dancers, long led by the dedicated director Doris Munkus, chooses a worthy cause to which they can commit themselves wholeheartedly — then these talented dancers turn their enduring love of dancing into a fundraising effort that supports all kinds of beneficial initiatives within the community.

Pell City CEPA is the beneficiary of this year’s fundraiser, we aim to enhance educational and artistic opportunities for the community. The funds raised will directly support initiatives such as workshops, performances, and film initiatives. By investing in these programs, CEPA fosters creativity and talent among residents, providing a platform for growth and expression. Moreover, the financial contribution will help maintain the facility and expand its outreach, ensuring that the benefits of arts education are accessible to a broader audience. This initiative not only strengthens the local culture but also encourages community involvement and collaboration in the arts.
