The Bowtie Bulldog Theatre Company (Ashville High), led by Terri Hipps, received the 2023 Show of the Year Award for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, directed by Sklyar Swann.

The award for best director of a community production went to Lesley Warren (Spotlight Jefferson State) and Ash Arrington (Spotlight Core) for Fine by Mourning.
